It's over, dude.
Five months ago, after a long bike race and a dinner with friends, I fell asleep on the highway. I crashed my car on a concrete wall, broke both feet, one vertebrae, and ruptured my gut. A seatbelt, airbags, and a damn good surgeon saved my life.
Yesterday, 2 surgeries, 2 months in a wheelchair, 3 months on crutches and 27 physio treatments later, I did what I missed most: I rode my bike with my favourite chick.
That's life. Enjoy it while you can
