Here’s a little story
Personally, my "social distancing" started with some challenges. I over-extended myself during a bike ride in the sun and had a minor heat-exhaustion which gave me a big fever. The next day, David and I suddenly decided we had to pack our stuff and drive 40 hours to come back to Canada (because of the current world situation) and during the drive I started to have a mouth infection, following my wisdom teeth removal.
I’m finally feeling good at home! I know many people find themselves in much worse situations right now, and I don’t want to sound like I’m giving advice - I’m not. But I wanted to share this because sometimes, when we face a few obstacles, it’s hard to find motivation - at least it was my case the last couple of days.
But over the years, I have found that sometimes, motivation comes from action. The best way to find motivation (and good mood) is to start doing something. So I gave myself a few things I want to accomplish each day to start establishing a new routine at home. And after only one day of doing things, I’m already more motivated to do more.
Sometimes, motivation brings action. But other times, it comes FROM action.
Sending you all a lot of love right now!
